The Stowe Story

American Flatbread, located in Stowe, Vermont, opened its doors in September 2022 in the legendary music venue, formerly known as The Rusty Nail. Today, American Flatbread, located at 1190 Mountain Road, is Stowe’s community gathering place serving wood-fired pizza, craft cocktails, and local brews. Join us by the hearth or take the experience home with you.

Reservations

Reservations are available online through RESY or by calling the restaurant. To inquire about making a reservation for a party of 7 or more please call 802-253-3092. If reservations are not available, we recommend exploring the area on the bike path while waiting and we will text you as soon as your table is ready.

    Please join us Thursday April 18th from 4:00 PM – 9:00PM as American Flatbread Stowe hosts The Green Mountain Club to raise money and awareness for a good cause!

    The mission of the Green Mountain Club is to make the Vermont mountains play a larger part in the life of the people by protecting and maintaining the Long Trail System and fostering, through education, the stewardship of Vermont’s hiking trails and mountains.

    A portion of all Flatbread sales this night will be directly donated to help support Green Mountain Club’s mission.

  • Zach DeFranco & Adlai Waxman

    Zachary DeFranco (Guitar/Banjo) is a musician and music educator based out of Bristol, Vermont. He picked up the guitar around age 10 and hasn’t stopped picking since. Zachary teaches mandolin, guitar, and tenor banjo. While preferring to teach by ear, Zachary likes to break it down note for note for students. Paired with Adlai Waxman (Piano) who is musician, composer and singer songwriter. Based out of South Burlington, Vermont. Enjoy the easy listening from this remarkable duo.

    Please join us Thursday April 25th from 4:00 PM – 9:00PM as American Flatbread Stowe hosts Clarina Howard Nichols Center to raise money and awareness for a good cause!

    Clarina’s services are available to all survivors of domestic and sexual violence, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity. All services are free of charge and confidential.

  • John Lackard Blues Duo

    A sound and style that could easily have come from Memphis or Chicago is perhaps what makes John Lackard and his Green Mountain origin so unique. Not just another trip on the “Blues Bandwagon” that is so ever popular today. This is the real thing. His apparent connection and understanding began when his father brought the Boogie Woogie piano and records into the household, and started a career that has lasted over half of a century. Currently in process of recording a CD, one of the tracks titled “I Wanna Go Back” can be heard on the compilation album “Best of The Green Mountain Blues Vol. 1”. The future promises a continued extensive touring schedule that previously prompted a radio D.J. to proclaim the John Lackard Blues Band “The Hardest Working Blues Band in New England
