Middlebury Benefit Bakes

Benefit Bakes

American Flatbread restaurants regularly host what we call Benefit Bakes. These are evenings devoted not only to raising funds, but raising consciousness about community issues and individuals we feel deserve attention. We contribute a portion of the price of each flatbread sold during the evening of the Benefit Bake.

Tuesday, July 1st

350.org is building a global climate movement. Their online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are coordinated by a global network active in over 188 countries, and co-founded by
Middlebury’s own Bill McKibben!

They (and we) believe that a global grassroots movement can hold our leaders accountable to the realities of science and the principles of justice. That movement is rising from the bottom up all over the world, and is uniting to create the solutions that will ensure a better future for all.

On Tuesday night, July 1st we will be donating a portion of the sales from each flatbread to this very deserving cause. Please come and show them your support. You can learn more about what they do on their website:  http://350.org/
