Martin Luther King, Jr
WEEKEND
I wonder if it is a sacrilege to honor the weekend and not the man? To root for snow and warm fires instead of justice and equality. To hope and work for good business instead of social progress? In life, Martin Luther King, Jr. shined a light on what it might look like to be a better people and a better country. In death his birthday has become a holiday. And maybe that is just right. A holiday to remind us of the goodness of living.
Thanks for coming tonight. Thanks Marin Luther King, Jr.
Love, George
